Further than never? Hard to imagine...

It follows perfect industry logic: compromise the very reason anyone would be interested in the format to begin with--better sound quality!

Why take risk with a paperweight that might not be on the market before Xmas when you can buy a Sony SACD boat anchor today for only $5000?
