EX REAR SPEAKER CONFIGURATION

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 98):
I have a question on dolby ex rears.
I will be using 4 bose am5 speakers as
the surrounds.i will be connecting one
set as rears and one set as sides.On a
mc-1 which wouild be the the 6th ex channel.Wouild it be the rears or the sides.The ex specs states that the extra speakers are mono and behind the
listener.Does this mean that the sides become the stereo speakers and the rears the extra ex channel.The reason
is i will be ordering the cine pro 6 chanel amp.The connections will be the
2 fronts,the centre,2 rears and an ex channel.2 speakers will be connected to
ONE channel on the cinepro as only mono is required.The question is on an mc-1 are the ex speakers connected as sides or rears.
