If someone has a seven channel system then maybe holding until the EX upgrade would make sense, but in the long run it depends on the costs involved - we may find a discount for those recently purchasing v3, in which case owning both for a modest outlay would not be prohibitive.

The EX version will undoubtedly address problems such as the bass enhance DTS shift and who knows what other goodies Lexicon have crammed in there.
