Your lose whatever HDCD brings to your system if U connect the analog outputs of your DAC to the Lexicon because all inputs ate digitized within the DC-1.

The DC-1 will have no problems decoding the HDCD bitstream, just that it will not apply the HDCD decoding process per se, since it does not have the required circuitry.

The DC-1's DAC's are very good, actually, although you'll have to decide if they are as good as your HDCD-capable DAC.
