Marantz Monoblocks and triggering

Using Mozilla/4.05 (Macintosh; I; PPC, Nav):

From what I have read in this forum in the past,as I remember it, Marantz MA700's amps can be triggered on from the DC-1, but not the MA500's. Is that correct? And can anyone tell me why the 500s can't be triggered on if that is the case? Is there no way around that?
