Marantz Monoblocks and triggering

Hergott on September 26, 1999 at 23:25:22: I'm using seven monoblocks in my system. Instead of triggering them directly, I have my MC-1 trigger my two Panamax 1000's which, of course, have a total of four delayed turn-on outlets for amplifiers. The instructions to the MA-700 state that you can plug one MA-700 into the outlet on the rear of another, so I have three piggybacked into three of the four receptacles, and the seventh one is in the fourth receptable. Never had a problem with the switching on and triggering using this set-up. My home theatre system is on two dedicated 20 amp circuits I installed when I did my system. I have one Panamax on each circuit. This set-up has worked very well for me. BTW, the MA-700's are outstanding amps and do have individual input voltage adjustments so that the THX reference input specification can be set on each amp. Enjoyed the heck out of The Matrix this past weekend using my system. First time I'd seen the movie, and the AC-3 was awesome in Logic 7 mode!!!!
