1. Two-channel and Bypass are now the same mode (actually, there is no more Bypass). It will still toggle back to the last effect, though, like the old bypass. This is explained in the manual.

2. Your Velo power on works by detecting a sub signal, it's not controlled by the DC-1. If you're using a lower crossover in V3 like 40 Hz, there may not be enough signal on the recording at those frequencies to trigger the auto detect. Also, if you adjust the sub level to "OFF" in some of the modes, it will obviously cut the signal to the Velo.

I have never had good luck with auto-on features on a sub. I find that listening at low volumes often causes the sub to cut in and out. I generally leave my subs on.
