Lexicon DC-1 v3.1 LFE Crossover

The way bass management works is the center bass will be rerouted below its crossover to the fronts, and bass below the front crossover goes to the sub--so you don't lose anything. LFE info is automatically sent to the sub only (that's what the .1 channel is designed for). Using towers or bookshelves for L-C-R is a matter of personal preference and your overall system--there is nothing unique to the Lexicon that would favor one type of sepaker over another. However, the Bass Enhance feature does beenfit most from sides with full low frequency extension, either with full range speakers or side subs externally crossed over from the Lex side outputs. There have been many threads on Bass Enhance. Good luck speaker shopping!
