Optional DTS fan on DC-1

Hi Bruce,

The fan was a $60 Lexicon option designed to control the additional heat generated by the DTS chip. The fan was recommended for installations where there wasn't much clearance to provide enough ventilation. When installed, the fan is only active when a DTS signal is detected, but it's always on. It is relatively quiet--not sure about hearaing it from 12 ft. You can try it and if the noise is bothersome and you have adequate ventilation, just disconnect it.
