Missing LFE output on new MC-1

Were you previously using an 80Hz crossover rather than 40Hz? There's a lot of energy in that region so if you're now removing it from the sub-woofer output you'll notice the difference.

DTS material isn't a reliable source of LFE, some discs don't contain any LFE information whatsoever. Line up a Dolby Digital movie source with strong LFE activity (any modern movie) and base your evaluations upon that.

The other thing to check is that the Sub-woofer level isn't turned all the way down to "Off" in the effect menu.
