DC1 hookup

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.0; Windows NT; c_commcd1):

I currently have a hookup from my DVD video out to the lexicon v-disc video in. From the monitor video out s-video to my televison input for DVD. My dvd player has component out. I just recently purchased a HDTV TV which has component in. What is the best way to hook up. Do I remove both s-video cables?
