I am a kenwood Vr2090 owner. performance of the receiver is flawless and performs very well. You have heard of the remote of the gods. Well the Kenwood remote is the remote of the devil. It requires too many button presses to do anything. Heck if you do not make your selection within 4 seconds the screen shuts down and requires a button press to reactivate it. Vol up/down is sluggish. There are not enough words to describe how much I dislike the remote of the devil. But I do not have to deal with it. I have the remote of the gods. The Marantz RC2000 MKII. It works perfectly with the Kenwood. There are even some advantages to this combo. The only time I need to drag out the Devil is for setups which you do not need to do very often. If you own a learning remote I would recommend the Kenwood to anyone. Without my Marantz I would have never considered the Kenwood. Floyd
