You may be right, but I hope not. I think DTS is a really kool format, personally. The CDs I have heard so far in DTS have really impressed me -- particularly Steely Dan's "Gaucho" -- hope to see more artists take advantage of this format soon, but time will tell...I tend to think that the prevalence of DTS equipment on the market presently indicates that it has a real chance to thrive -- of course, it would have helped, as you noted, had Speilberg planned to release some DTS DVDs in time for Christmas sales...But maybe all the people that get shiny new DTS capable receivers and DVD players for Christmas will create enough of a demand to get this thing going?
