STR-DE925 Remote Questions

I know that I can use the functionality
of the remote to operate other manf's
devices, ie. my Panasonic A110 DVD, but under DVD manf's it comes up with two
Panasonic settings, likewise for my
Pioneer LD player.Anyone know the diff's? Thanks... Ed
