DSP-A1 speaker phase problem??? Most manufacturers have the woofer move outwards with a positive voltage applied to the positive connection, but some are designed the opposite, early Tannoys and JBL Pro come to mind (not sure on JBL home). Check your speakers with a AA or C battery, positive to positive, negative to negative, and the woofer cone should move outwards. It is important that all your speakers move the same but it really does not matter which way. You should determine if your speakers are designed to be negative going or have an internal wiring problem that should be rectified. Note, that this simple test only helps with the woofer phase and not with the Mid or High units which opens a whole new can of worms due to driver and x-over design.
