DSP-A1 speaker phase problem??? I just picked one randomly to get the two in phase. As it turns out, the right channel (at the speaker terminal) was easiest to access. : If the speaker output connectors are mounted to a circuit board, chances of wrong wiring are next to zero I would be willing to bet that with Yamaha's high dependence on circuitry that this is probably the way it is connected. I agree, the chances of this type of error happening during construction is almost nill. How then, could I get two different results when hooking-up two different receivers by the same manufacturer? I am completely baffled! I still have the old one, so tonight I plan on disconnecting "only" the main speakers from the A1 so I can hook it back up to the old RX-V890 (along with a CD input) to see if the problem follows to the old unit. I guarantee it was fine before I disconnected anything. Maybe, something could have happened when I was disconnecting the old to bring in the new. I will post my results.
