Question about Denon AVR-2700 processor chips...

Thanks for all the feedback about the Yamaha 2095's chips. Now I have to ask if anyone knows what kind of chip my current A/V unit has. I heard that my AVR-2700 had a single-bit AC-3 decoder. Is this true? My owner's manual doesn't specify this info, and the Denon website has no email address, so there's no way for me to find out. Also, I understand that the new Denon AVR 5600 and 3600 will have DTS decoding built-in. But, I also heard that they're going to be EXACTLY the same in every other respect. Now this is pretty cheesey if it's true, considering that those receivers have been in production for about three years and the only improvement Denon's added is a DTS chip. How can they hope to compete with such dated technology? Denon makes a great reciever, but I can think of plenty of improvements that can be made to the 3600 and 5600. They're gonna have a tough time against Yamaha and Onkyo's new product line.
