PROBLEMS W/ DENON AVD-2000

anyone else have any problems w/ their avd-2000 decoder?-......
after about 1.5 hours of play in dolby digital, it gets really, really hot- & i get a intermittant "popping" sound from my center & front left speakers. i have talked w/ Denon, & have sent it in for repair.-
just wandering if anyone else has had this same issue. ?
