First off, I would recomend that you don't pay retail. Also, if you can buy used or out of state to save on tax. If you buy used you should be able to get something at 1/2 to 3/4 of retail.

Check the local paper and bargin traders.

This is an auction site where you'll find tons of good deals if you give it a little time.

Also, check out http://www.onsale.com and http://www.ubid.com.
