SDDS - HT version

Is there a SDDS - HT version? How about SDDS software? I think Twister was DD, DTS and SDDS coded (BTW. I'm not sure if there is SDDS track on Twister DVD..).
What is happening with DTS? I hope it won't die - competition is a good thing..
(Can you hear any difference between DD and DTS? I watched few DTS encoded moovies and I can't hear difference)
