SDDS - HT version Posted by Nigel [IP: 153.35.13.175] on November 07, 1998 at 07:42:08: In Reply to: SDDS - HT version posted by Damir on November 07, 1998 at 06:50:55: : Is there a SDDS - HT version? How about SDDS software? I think Twister was DD, DTS and SDDS coded (BTW. I'm not sure if there is SDDS track on Twister DVD..). No there is not...2 home formats is enough don't you think?! (well 3 with the fast expiring MPEG in Europe). : What is happening with DTS? I hope it won't die - competition is a good thing.. LD's and audio discs still being released a-plenty, though I did see that DTS LD versions of the first 3 Alien movies have been cancelled. And Image has announced the first DTS DVD for next week, shame it's only the 50 minute Legend of Mulan : (Can you hear any difference between DD and DTS? I watched few DTS encoded moovies and I can't hear difference) I'll pass on that one as to my opinion, but side by side tests by others with LD would tend to suggest not.
