PC line out to receiver... I have tried connecting it to an Aux, a VCR in, a CD in, messed with the volume settings on the cards, the input levels on the receiver, all to no avail. : I am trying to connect it to a Denon AVR-5600. Any help would be appreciated. : Tom K. : I have good PC speakers, I am merely experimenting... Tom Steve was right - there shouldn't be any difference in which input you use. I also connect the output of my AWE64 to external amps with pretty good results. I think you should first make sure your receiver is connected to the line out, NOT speaker out of your sound card. You can also move your sound card to another slot, probably the slot furthest away from the power supply to see if that helps. The hum might be interference from the PC's power supply.
