Anyone compare the JVC RX1024VBK receiver

I'm looking for a good DD receiver but don't have the right shape room to develop a high end system in (family room) but want something powerful enough to power my Bose Acoustmas 5s and my JBL flush wall mounts. I want tospend less than $800 so I have enough left to buy subwoofer.
