The specs from the JVC seem to be very good and the price is fantastic for a DD receiver with 110watts x 5 with all the digital inputs and other features. I am not familiar with their receivers but have had several JVC TVs in the past and had exceptional results. This receiver can be bought for under $500 with the same capabilities of the Yamaha 2092, Denon 3600, etc. How about another unknown, the Toshiba XB200 which retails for $1800 and can be bought for under $700? Anybody familiar with the quality and performance?

Bottom line, what's the best bang for the buck under$800 that had DD and good music capabilities? The more I read the crazier it gets.
