If you have narrowed it down to just those two, there is no comparison. The DC1 is superior in every way to the B&K, period.

Otherwise, there are a lot of exciting new pieces on the horizon( Theta Casanova, Classe' SSP25) and existing pieces under $5K (Proceed AVP, EAD Theater Master Ovation.)

May want to wait a bit since Lex is getting ready to phase out the DC1 and bring out 3 new models( one cheaper, one about the same, and one almost double the price.) This, I hear, is supposed to happen by Christmas. Then again, you know how release dates for processor pieces have been going lately.

: I'm in the process of evaluating the purchase of either the Lexicon DC-1 or the B&K reference 20. Any comments pro or con would be greatly appreciated.
