The 8008X3 is an excellent 3 channel amp for the price. It sounds great and will deliver more power than you'll ever need. I use my 8008X3 to power my center and surrounds, so I can't really comment on how it will sound for stereo (I use an 8008BB for my mains). However, every review I have read for the 8008X3 stated that it did a wonderful job for stereo. The Aragon will sound different from your Acurus amps, but it should not be a real big deal. Your fronts will all match and your surrounds will be close enough.

: Looking to add a 3 channel amp to run across the front end for a total of 7 channels, what other amps in this price range of $2500 new should I be considering? I listen to 2 channel stereo quite a bit and want an excellent amp for that purpose. My other amps are Acurus A-250's, so you know what charateristics I am trying to compliment. Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated.
