Are all " S LINKS " created equal??

It is true that S-Link for Audio and Video components are not compatible, but that does not mean that they can not be in the same system. S-Link for Audio (Control A1 I think) works with all the components connected by a mini stereo plug IN SERIES. You can hook them in any order you want, one into the other, as long as one ends up connecting to the reciever. That is why there is only on Audio S-link connector on recievers. For the video components, each one hooks into the reciever. So each video input has a slink in/output as well. So you can see that they do not even need to be compatible.
