No THX (does have eq), No true analog path, the whole preamp section is on a chip (as many other HT preamps are), SGHT ThetaCasablanca reveiws, no significant upgrades offered to Casablanca to date, mid-grade DACs (bits is not everything).

The only thing really special (on paper) is the card cage.
