Again the impedance of rear boxes!

Posted by Sven Sternberger [IP: 194.25.2.174] on December 30, 1998 at 18:06:31:

My problem is often disussed "Is it
ok to connect a 4 Ohm Speaker to
8-16 Ohm Amplifier?". In my case I use a Sony TA-VE800G and JBL Control 1G
I have a special effect, if I make the music louder the rear boxes go down (proportional to the front section)
and the sound gets more and more
crunchy. My question could this be a
effect of the wrong impedance or is my amp just to weak for loud surround sound?
