Hi Mark Dolby Pro Logic is phase-encoded into the standard 2 channel stereo output signals. The stereo output (analog) from your CD-ROM will contain the DPL matrix information. Running it through your soundcard and then out to your DPL decoder (receiver, I assume) should work. If you can set your soundcard to allow passage of the signal straight thru (no preamp effects - volume, tone, etc), your decode results will be better. The more the signal is altered through level changes, distortion, eq, etc, the less likely a solid decode will occur.
