Yamaha RX-V 995 vs. Sherwood R-945

I haven't looked at the Sherwood R-945, but I have looked at the Yamaha rx-v995 and will soon be buying one. The Yamaha's build quality is very good for the money, I doubt Sherwood's or any other manufacturer's build quality is better (equivalent maybe, but not better). I think you'll find the rx-v995 DSP functions useful and fun. They can all be adjusted to your preferences, so don't be put off by the exaggerated effects that are demonstrated in showrooms. I haven't heard negative comments about the Yamaha for what it does in its price range.
