Yes. AC-3 is another name for Dolby Digital, if Dolby Digital receivers didn't have a AC-3 "jack" (or input) you'd not be able to get the bitstream into them.

There are two types of Dolby Digital input, bitstream and RF, the latter only used for laserdisc.
