Problems with my Harmon Kardon AVR80

Has anyone experienced any problems with their HK AVR80? Mine every great once in a while will turn the volume up(all the way up)by itself. In the 3 years that I've had it, this problem has happened around 10 times. Any insight to what the problem could be would be helpful, and if anybody knows HK's warranty policy I would greatly appreciate it.
