Amplifier under 700???

I have an old Kenwood KM-106 stereo amp from the college, volume only matters years. I'd like to build a Music/HT system and still be able to put some money into savings. I'm not in a paticular rush and I like the idea of seperates. In fact, I was thinking of using the KM-106 for the rears.

New or older model, what 4 channel system offers the most bang for the <$700 buck?
