Yamaha RXV-795 vs Denon AVR-2700

I am going to buy a new amp soon to replace my old Denon 2channel amp (2x80W) which I am using with my Cerwin Vega VS-10 speakers. I think I will choose between the recievers in the subject. They both fit my price range. But I can't decide. I want to have a equal amp in 2channel mode in matters of power and current as my current Denon amp since I listen alot to normal stereo.

From what I see the Yamaha and the Denon is almost equal in most cases. Denon can decode 96Khz signals and the Yamaha has built in DTS.

But else? Soundwise, are they almost equal? Please give me some input on these two recievers which can help me in my decision.

(Yamaha 995 is not available in Europe, so that is not an option)
