As the others have stated, it depends on what brands you are looking for. One Call is a very good place but they will not sell certain brands mail order.

I think the Yamaha 795 is one of the best deals on an AC-3 receiver at the moment. I got it from Uncles Stereo for $629 delivered. I paired it with a Panasonic A110 DVD player and it sounds great.

If your looking for a non ES Sony such as the 925, then a Oregan camera place which is listed on the site suggested by the other posters is the best place to get one.

If you are going to get are already have a DVD player then an AC-3 capable player is a must (assuming you have the speaker set-up).
