Please help with yamaha rxv793

Having a problem with sound...I'm not getting any. My wife turned everything on and was listening to the radio. She wanted to listen to the Tv so she hit the VCR button. Problem is she hit the video aux button by mistake. Now I can't get any sound at all from any source! The power light on the volume dial on the receiver is flashing and I'm wondering if that should be telling me something. So to sum up...no sound at all from cd,vcr, tuner etc.. Anybody have any million dollar suggestions? No its not the speaker a or b button already thought of that. Any help would be much appreciated.
