David,

You could go two ways with the retirement of your Yamaha '670. You could sell it (more on tips there to follow) or you could use it as the heart of a nice second system for the bedroom or home office, even if just with a pair of speakers for stereo.

If you have no need for it at all, then it's time to sell it. If you do not mind boxing it up for shipping, your best bet will be to advertise it on a newsgroup such as rec.audio.marketplace or the classified section of an audio related web site. Expect to receive roughly $150 plus shipping costs as an average... hope for a bit more but the market is full of similar DPL units as people upgrade to AC-3. Yes packing it up, waiting for payment to arrive and taking the package to a UPS depot is a chore, but so is waiting for someone who called on a classified ad in the local paper to show up, only to try to chisel you down!

Are you sure you don't need a second system in the bedroom???

Alan
