I bought a Sherwood R945 about 2 months ago and I am very pleased with the results I am getting with it, especially playing music CDs. I have a Definitive Technology Powerfield PF12 TL subwoofer to give it that bottom end punch and I just find the sound trully enjoyable. Very musical. Movies sound great too.

I am using both coax and optical connections without problems. My optical cable is Haisago and it works very well, however I thought that the coax connection sounded more lively.
