I noticed my 50ES (US version first shipment) getting good and hot with extended play. I bought a muffin fan and mounted it in the wood shelf it sets on by cutting a hole and dropping the fan down into the middle of the shelf.
I plugged this 120vac fan into the switched outlet of the 50ES. The fan is almost hidden (the fan thickness is slightly wider than the shelf) and the receiver only gets warm now.
Although, I never got an error message.

Is your remote as dim as mine?
