so many people are dissapointed with the touch screen remote, you may feel better off with the remote of the 30ES anyway.

Although, I have the 50 and agree that the remote could be brighter... it suits me just fine... I only watch movies in the dark(remote lights up real well in dark) and when listening to music I don't really need my remote because my only cd player is my DVD-ROM drive in my computer(no remote anyway).
