Factory Reconditioned Receiver?

I purchased a "Factory Reconditioned" receiver from Circuit City (Kenwood 1080vr). As you say, the price is sometimes incredibly low. I had to return two units before I got one that performed and or looked like a new one.
It might be a real pain to go through the exchange process by mail.

I suggest you try to find an outlet in or close to your home town that deals in 'factory reconditioned' units like I did, but you never know, you might get lucky buying on-line, and get a great unit right out of the box.
