Denon AVD-2000 as a D/A converter

Anybody have thoughts on how well AVD2000 can perform as a D/A converter for CD music?

Since it has 20bit converter and ASLC (super linear converter) for front channels it seems that this unit might perform better than usual D/A converters of low-end CD players.
I noticed that high end denon CD players have this ASLC, which AVD2000 has, and an alpha processor, which AVD2000 does not have.
