S/P DIF and DVD?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98):

Hello,

I really need some help! Can someone tell me WHAT I NEED in order to send an S/P DIF connection from my dvd decoder card on my computer to output of 5.1 channels???? Im looking for something affordable!!?? A reciever or an adapter or whatever!!???????
