I'm new to all this audio stuff, and just bought a DVD, Dolby Digital/DTS decoder, and a 6 channel receiver and would like the best quality sound. I'm wondering, both my decoder and receiver have the test tones for the speakers... How should I set them? Should I turn the speakers all the way UP on my decoder, then adjust them on the receiver (for all the speakers to be at the same balance)? Or should I do it the other way around? Any help or suggestions would be greately appreciated. As I said, I'm new to this, and I would love to experience the sound of a DVD the way it is meant to be heard. I'm I making this more complicated than it really is? [NRP SysOp note: this message has been moved from Forum 5.]
