Ground loop hum- Simple fixes didn't work

If you have any two-prong plugs, try turning them around. It could even be that the hot and neutral are incorrectly connected internally in one of the plugs themselves.

Try this with your cable TV coax disconnected, because (as it appears you already know) this is the most likely source of a different ground potential.
