JVC RX-884 and AC3/RF inputs

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; AOL 4.0; Windows 98):

Have a JVC 884 receiver which does not have a AC3/RF connection. My Digital cable box is a Dolby Digital box with only a RCA stereo output, so the DD must be in the RF cable line as laserdisc are. Where can I get a outboard demodulator to decode DD? Where does the outputs on the demodulator connect? To the coaxial or optical? Never used one before, so this is new to me. There is no optical or coaxial on the cable box, just RCA stereo, and the cable box has the DD label on the front of the box. Thanks for any help you can give me.
