sony 925 Dolby Digital Reciever

Using Mozilla/4.05 [en]C-SYMPA (Win95; I):

Can anyone tell me what the problem may be when playing a d.v.d in the dolby digiital mode .There are always parts in the move that just cut out no sound at all i contacted sony canada as well as a local repairman and either one of them could give me an answer.
