Sony 7700 and Denon 5700 connection

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win95; I):

I just purchased a sony 7700 dvd player, and a Denon 5700 receiver. I am going to use the sony as my cd transport. My question is, what type of conection will give me the best sound for cd playback?
Coaxial, optical or analog? I am using the optical for dvds right now. Please advise! Thanks
