Let me guess:

1) No AC-3 RF input/decoder (i.e. Laserdisc Digital Output) on the AVR-95.
2) Not as many inputs on the 95 as on the 3200.

I did some HARD LOOKING at DD receivers before I bought (on credit) the AVR-3200. All the other DD receivers ** DID NOT ** have an AC-3 RF input to accomodate my Laserdisc player, even though their prices were FANTASTIC (i.e. sub-$700 price tags).

OTOH, those receivers that ** DID ** have the AC-3 RF input carried retail price tags OVER $1100!

Thankfully, the retailer where I bought the AVR-3200 had it on TREMENDOUS DISCOUNT ($25%!) - $900 vs $1300 MSRP. :)

Finally, the AVR-3200 is NO SLOUCH OF A UNIT! I've had mine for a week now and I'M TICKLED TO DEATH with its' performance!

Ken
